olive james bouquets began from a crazy dream to follow my passion of gardening and bouquet making.  After gradually converting garage space to a floral studio in Cohasset, I'm delighted to grow in the South Shore community.  olive james' blooms are sourced from local flower farms, the flower exchanges, and our own gardens.  Recycling and conservation play a vital role in my business practices.  I love this journey: meeting new people, navigating the markets, learning new design techniques, and most of all, bringing joy to folks with flowers.

After countless years working in financial services and gardening as a hobby,  I'm so grateful to have an opportunity to focus on all things botanical!  Like so many people, flowers bring me the greatest joy. Flowers offer us a means to connect with nature and a way to express ourselves to one another in love, friendship, admiration, recognition, and sadness.  My mind never tires of working in the garden...it should however, inform my body in a more timely manner to stop.   My process comes from my soul.
